Replacing this site with a new Rails application...
I am going to transition jasonstahl.net over to a new Rails application in the not too distant future. This will break your permalinks as while I'm going to transition some content, the urls scheme is changing.
Changing Employers (Again)
As many of you know, I was laid off from Appcelerator at the end of May. Not to worry though. As of last Thursday I am back at Lawson in my old job three days a week (my request).
What am I doing with the extra time? Whatever I want, but mostly photography and possibly going back to school.
Changing Employers
Starting on October 15th, 2008 I will no longer be employed by Lawson. It's been just over nine years since I started working for Lawson. I have met a ton of great people and learned a lot about creating and delivering software.
Nine years at one company in software is a long time. It's time for me to move on. I am excited about Appcelerator as a product and very exited that they have decided to pay me to work on making it better. Starting on October 20th, 2008 Appcelerator will be my new employer.
jasonstahl.com
I am now the proud owner of jasonstahl.com. For the time being I just have it forwarding here, but if I get time to pursue photography seriously again I will probably make that the home for my "photography business".
AT&T == Bad Reception
Don't get me wrong. I love my new iPhone, but man does AT&T's signal strength super suck at my home. We basically get no service when we are inside. I contacted AT&T and their response was go outside.
If you are trying to call me and can't get a hold of me, that might be why. I check email pretty regularly.
I am looking into a solution to the problem. Current leaders are either forwarding to a land line or getting some kind of signal booster.
