Taking A Break From Shooting

By all appearances I have been a huge slacker lately. At least when it comes to photography. I think I owe everyone and their brother photos. I am not happy about this, but I don't have much choice in the matter. There are only so many hours in the day, and for better or worse photography is holding the short straw.

If I owe you photos, I am sorry. I am trying to get them out as fast as I can. I can't promise when you will see anything. Just know I am not shooting anymore until I catch up unless someone is paying me, and since nobody pays me I am not shooting at all at the moment.

New Beginnings

Where is all my time going? This past winter I started a new software company with a friend. Our first product is a portal for schools that allows staff and teachers to communicate with parents the status and progress of the students (i.e. grades, attendance, lunch account, etc.).

So we can make the next school year, we had a major release due at the end of July. Like any major release there are some issues to smooth out so work is ongoing. This is taking most of my time not dedicated to my day job. What little time is left after that is being split between getting photos out slowly and trying to maintain something resembling a social life.
